The SPARK and PIRANHA model manipulators have both been designed mainly to extract sprues from moulds: using these devices allows both the automatic separation of the sprue, as well as the immediate recycling of the material. Moreover it is guaranteed that the sprue will not remain inside the mould when it closes.
The high speed of movement allows a significant lengthening of the cycle time, especially when using the PIRANHA model.
The main difference between the two models is related to the axis movement: with pneumatic cylinders in the case of SPARK, and 3 brushless motors for PIRANHA.
With the PIRANHA model it is also possible to simultaneously extract the moulded piece and the sprue, then release them at different points.
